WALKING THE TRANSFORMATIVE PATH

Don’t Despair, Walk On

By Hafez

Joseph to his father in Canaan shall return, don’t despair walk on;
and Jacob’s hut will brighten with flowers, don’t despair walk on.

Aching hearts heal in time, vanished hopes reappear,
the disparate mind will be pacified, don’t despair walk on.

As the spring of life grows the newly green meadow,
roses will crown the sweet nightingale’s song, don’t despair walk on

If the world does not turn to your whims these few days,
cosmic cycles are preparing to change, don’t despair walk on.

If desperation whispers you’ll never know God,
it’s the talk of hidden games in the veil, don’t despair walk on.

O heart, when the vast flood slashes life to its roots,

Captain Noah waits to steer you ashore, don’t despair walk on.

If you trek as a pilgrim through sands to Kaabeh
with thorns lodged deep in your soul shouting why, don’t despair walk on

Though oases hide dangers and your destiny’s far,
there’s no pathway that goes on forever, don’t despair walk on.

My trials and enemies face me on their own,
but mystery always backs up my stand, don’t despair walk on.

Hafez, weakened by poverty, alone in the dark,
this night is your pathway into the light, don’t despair walk on.

Are You Disillusioned With the Healing Path?

Do you feel stuck, stalled or blocked in your process?

Are there times you feel you’ve regressed or gone backwards?

I get it.

The journey of trauma recovery, self-discovery and personal growth is full of twists and turns, and sometimes periods of stagnation.

It is far from a linear path. There are roadblocks. Frustrating developments, losses and detours.

Even moreso, there is the breaking open.

There is the destruction of the old life and the old identity we have once claimed as our own. We shed skins. We experience disillusionment and disequilibrium. Sometimes we doubt our path and our progress.

At times we feel hopeless, stuck and plagued by a sense of futility.

If you’ve been at the healing game for a long time, you might be nodding your head at this point.

You’re not alone.

I’ve been doing this work for over ten years, and have weathered many ups and downs along my own turbulent path of recovery and self-reclamation.

There have been times when I’ve felt it would be better to go back to sleep; to surrender once more to unconsciousness (alas of course, at a certain point in time, there can be no turning back…not really).

There have been times when I felt like a hampster running around on a wheel, nauseated from all the movement, yet still feeling as though I’m not getting anywhere.

There have also been times of renewal. Times when my faith and my stamina have been reinvigorated.

Times when, just at what felt like the very last possible moment, a new teaching, tool, perspective, person or insight has come into my life and set me adrift on a new course.

If you’re feeling stuck, discouraged or stagnant on your healing path, I encourage you to join me for this third webinar of my Phoenix Reborn Transformational Program series.
